Abstrak
Strengthening spiritual intelligence is an important aspect in shaping students’ character in the school environment. Spiritual intelligence helps students understand the meaning of life, develop moral values, and foster religious attitudes in daily life. This paper aims to describe efforts to strengthen students’ spiritual intelligence through the optimization of a religious school culture based on the Kultum Movement at SMPN 7 Mataram. The Kultum Movement is carried out regularly by actively involving students in delivering short religious speeches containing religious values, moral teachings, and spiritual motivation. This activity becomes part of the school culture integrated with learning activities and the habituation of religious behavior. The implementation of the Kultum Movement shows an increase in students’ spiritual awareness, discipline, self-confidence, and public speaking skills. In addition, this activity strengthens religious character and enhances social relationships among the school community. Therefore, the optimization of religious culture through the Kultum Movement plays a positive role in strengthening students’ spiritual intelligence at SMPN 7 Mataram.
