History Of The Development Of The Arabic Language During The Umayyah Dynasty
Abstrak
The reign of the Umayyad Daula was known as an aggressive era, where attention was focused on territorial expansion and conquest, continuing missions that had stopped since the second era of Khulafa al Rosyidin. Apart from these successes, the Umayyad Daula also contributed a lot to the development of various fields, as well as the development of the fields of science, both religious and scientific, using Arabic as the main medium. Based on the information above, this article will discuss the development of the Arabic language during the Umayyad Dynasty by first describing the existence of the Umayyad Dynasty in general and then specifically discussing the Development of the Arabic Language during the Umayyad Dynasty. Qualitative Type of Literature Study Development of the Arabic Language by the Rulers The Umayyad dynasty was strengthened and developed within the Islamic kingdom. The development of the Arabic language during the Umayyad dynasty took place. Along with the expansion of the Islamic territory, the Arabic language during the Umayyah era experienced development based on the Umayyad government's policy by developing Arabization politics. Arabic language teaching at the beginning of the Umayyad Dynasty was still a learning culture, where the spread of Arabic was still carried out orally, integrated into everyday life as a means of communication for Arab society. The Arabic language education management system is still teacher oriented, teaching still depends on the teacher.
